Every schoolchild in America used to know about the impeccable character and bravery of George Washington. He actually led his men into battle from the front.
One of the Indian Chiefs who fought against George Washington in the French and Indian War wanted to meet the man he called “the bulletproof general.” He said that he had personally shot at Washington several times, but the bullets never touched him. In one battle alone, he had three horses shot from under him.
Here are some excerpts from the speech that General Washington gave his troops at the beginning of the War:
“The time is now near at hand, which must probably determine whether Americans are to be free men or slaves; whether they are to have any property they can call their own; whether their houses and farms are to be pillaged and destroyed, and themselves consigned to a state of wretchedness from which no human efforts will deliver them.
“The fate of unborn millions will now depend, under God, on the courage and conduct of this army. Our cruel and unrelenting enemy leaves us only the choice of a brave resistance, or the most abject submission. We have, therefore, to resolve to conquer, or to die. . . .
“Let us, then rely on the goodness of our cause, and the aid of the Supreme Being, in whose hands victory is, to animate and encourage us to great and noble actions. . . .
American Socialists and Communists have done an excellent job of following that blueprint for America. In the past ninety-three years, they have reached nearly all of these goals. This must be what President Obama was talking about when he talked about “The Fundamental Transformation of America.”
A. Corrupt the young; get them away from religion. Get them interested in sex. Make them superficial; destroy their ruggedness.
B. Get control of all means of publicity , thereby:
1. Get people’s minds off their government by focusing their attention on athletics, sexy books, plays and other trivialities.
2. Divide the people into hostile groups by constantly harping on controversial matters of no importance.
3. Destroy the people’s faith in their natural leaders by holding them up to contempt, ridicule and disgrace.
4. Always preach true democracy, but seize power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible.
5. By encouraging government extravagance, destroy its credit, produce fear of inflation with rising prices and general discontent.
6. By specious argument, cause the breakdown of the old moral virtues – honesty, sobriety, self-restraint, faith in the pledged word, ruggedness.
C. Cause the registration of ALL firearms on some pretext with a view to confiscate them and leave the population helpless.
President John Adams said, “There are two ways to enslave a nation. One is by the sword, the other is by debt.” During his first term in office, President Obama borrowed and spent more money than all of the other Presidents combined.
He is one of those folks who “haven’t been reading their Bible.” He doesn’t know the meaning of the following verse. But I think that he’s beginning to experience it.
Be not deceived. God is not mocked. Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7
Anybody who wants mock God is free to do so. But, they have to take everything that goes with it, which is, of course, the judgment of God. But what about us, the people of America?
Are we being judged for what our President does? I sure looks like it. Look at the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s destroying the livelihoods of many Americans, and destroying the earth. But it’s just another one of a long list of catastrophies that have taken place on President Obama’s watch. It looks like his mouth is overloading our behinds.
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Proverbs 29:2
